Peace to all of you again!
Although its been a stretch of time since my last post, I have become a bit more lenient about the delay than I used to be. So much of what caused my delay was a need for me to reassess, readdress, and remodel my "homes". And no... I haven't hit the jackpot and become burdened with the need to reupholster multiple houses. When I say "homes" I mean my places of residence. My places of refuge. After a long tumultuous and stressful time managing ill situations with the ACTUAL house that I live in, (I almost didn't have a "home") I learned so much about myself.
One of the things that I learned, was that my main deterrent in life at the time was my lack of organization. The more figuratively disheveled things were, the more difficult it became for me to remain focused and devoted to the task at hand. Despite much unnecessary, yet very real, obstacles that presented themselves, I made it my business to learn as much as i could about how to save my home, what to know, etc. I had moments when I felt mixed feelings about my investments of energy. There were also moments that I am truly glad I experienced as they helped teach me invaluable things about life, and about my personal areas that needed development.
A great amount of pain and discomfort can be stemmed from not staying on task. The greater your foresight, the better able you are to envision how many consequences come from being erratic in your plans. A very dear family member of mine told me something that i will never forget... "When you are falling, if you find yourself reaching and grabbing at everything on your way down, and you don't commit to one solid thing to grab on at a time, you inevitably... fall." Food for thought... no need for gravy.
My home(outside of myself), was(and in some ways, still is) full of distractions, sources of stress, looming obligations, etc. The more important home, between my two ears, has experienced a true overhaul, and the maintenance crew in there is working diligently and carefully to repair, reupholster, and remodel all of the beautiful randomly placed items inside. Take care of your home. And Keep Your Room Clean!
